Stalker
For the "Cinematic Frights: Exploring the Horror Genre" course (FILM-370-01) with producer Steven Stanley, I produced the short film "The Stalker", an exhilarating project shot entirely in one continuous take on a film studio's backlot. This terror-themed narrative unfolds within the confines of an apartment, where tension escalates as the story of Emily, her realtor Melissa, and a menacing stalker unfolds. Our talented cast, featuring two amazing actresses in the roles of Emily and Melissa, and an actor portraying the unnerving presence of the stalker, brought the intense emotions and chilling atmosphere to life.
As the producer, I was deeply involved in every aspect of the production, from coordinating the shoot to overseeing the technical execution. In post-production, I took on the roles of editor and sound designer, crafting the film’s auditory landscape to enhance the suspense and emotional impact of the story. This project showcased the effectiveness of minimalistic, continuous-take filming in delivering powerful storytelling.
